Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles is hosting an extraordinary wedding and special occasion faire celebrating avant-garde, one-of-a-kind, traditional, and non-traditional adornment by select Bay Area craft makers. Planning a wedding, hand-clasping, jumping the broom, civil union, or any meaningful commitment ceremony? This event is curated for those seeking finery beyond the ordinary. Whether your style leans toward Traditional, Dandy, Victoriana, Gothic, Cottage, Faerie, or Night-Core, Marriage à la Mode will feature pieces designed for your uniquely personal commitment adventure.

Meet talented independent artisans creating breathtaking jewelry, elegant dresses, bespoke perfumes, veils of all descriptions, eye-catching ceremonial adornments, alongside Lacis' own offerings of antique laces and textiles pieces, vintage wedding dresses, antique and modern veils, orange blossom garlands, and more. Join us for an opportunity to explore meaningful pieces for one of life's most beautiful moments. Everything needed from engagement to the honeymoon and maybe even beyond! Demonstrations throughout the day will highlight the fun of making of traditional wedding adornments, including veils, garters, and other heirloom crafts. There will also be light refreshments and a little live music. A festive environment to get you in the mood for love!
